Good news for the government teachers of UP. The announcement made by the government is no less than a gift. The government has made the duty of teachers in school summer camps optional. That is, they don’t need to participate in the summer camp. However, it has also been said that the government will give additional benefits to the teachers who will be present on duty.
Summer camp will be held in the government schools of UP from 21 May to 20 June. Secondary teachers were put on duty. As soon as the summer camp was announced, the teacher organisations opposed it. Given this, the Yogi government issued this order.
According to the order issued by Vishnukant Pandey, Additional State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha Madhyamik, it is not mandatory for all teachers to do duty in the summer camp from 21 May to 10 June.
Those Coming On Duty Will Get The Benefit
The order clearly states that all teachers who come to the summer camp, whether from government or private schools, will be given earned leave as per the rules. The government’s order is being considered good news for the teachers. Many teachers did not want to do duty in summer camps. After this order, teachers can decide if they wish to be present.
Students Will Have To Obtain Consent From Their Parents
The government has also issued instructions for the students. It has been said that any student who wants to participate in the summer camp must get written consent from their parents. These summer camps are organised so students can participate in activities besides studies.
This Is The Purpose Of Summer Camp.
The department’s order also states that summer camps are organised in private schools during summer vacations, but the students of government schools are left behind. Considering this, a summer camp is being organised for students this year, where sports, teamwork, career guidance, and others will be conducted.
