NTA NEET UG Answer Key 2025

Good news for the students waiting for the provisional answer key of NEET UG 2025: The provisional answer key can be released by NTA soon. There is no official confirmation from NTA in this regard; however, looking at the trend from the last time, it is believed that it can be released soon.

More than 20 lakh candidates had appeared in NEET UG this time. The exam was conducted on 4 May across the country. The students who took this exam have been waiting for the provisional answer key for a long time. NTA is likely to release it soon. The students who appeared in the exam this time can download the answer key from the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

How Was The Trend In Previous Years

Last year, NEET UG was organised by NTA on 5 May, and the answer key was released on 29 May. Earlier in 2023, the exam was held on 7 May, and the answer key was released on 4 June. In such a situation, it is believed that the provisional answer key can be issued by NTA anytime now, after which the students will be allowed to register their objections. For this, they will also have to pay the prescribed fee.

A Fee Of Rs 200 Will Have To Be Paid

The notification issued by NTA for the examination clearly stated that any student dissatisfied with the answer key can register an objection to it. For this, they will have to register an objection per the procedure mentioned by paying a fee of Rs 200 for a fixed time. This fee will not be refunded. NTA will review the objections with a panel of experts; if any challenge is correct, the answer key will be revised. However, the candidates will not be specifically informed about it.

This Will Happen If More Than One Option Is Correct

If a question in the NEET UG Exam has more than one correct option, then the student who chooses one of the two options will get 4 marks. Even if no option is correct or the question is removed, the students who appear for the paper will be entitled to full marks. Under normal circumstances, all the candidates will be given four marks. Apart from this, there will be negative marking for wrong answers, for which one mark will be deducted.
