Greater Noida News: A big decision was made in favour of the farmers at the board meeting of Greater Noida Authority held on Saturday. It is being said that the farmers’ back-lease cases will no longer be sent to the board. The CEO of the Authority himself will settle the cases.
Chief Secretary Gave Permission
The 139th board meeting of Greater Noida Authority was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh and Chairman of Noida-Greater Noida Authority Manoj Kumar Singh. The Chief Secretary joined this board meeting online. Noida CEO Dr. Lokesh M and many other officers joined the online board meeting.
In the meeting, a proposal was made to give the committee constituted by the CEO the right to modify the clerical errors (such as beneficiary’s name, area, etc.) in the board’s decisions in the lease back cases in favour of the farmers, on which Chairman Manoj Kumar Singh gave permission.
Committee Will Be Formed
According to the board, the CEO has been authorised to modify the clerical errors (such as the beneficiary’s name, area, etc.) on the farmers’ back-lease cases. For this, the CEO will form a committee. After examining the records, the clerical error will be corrected with the CEO’s approval based on the committee’s recommendation. There is no need to wait for permission from the board meeting.
There Will Be No Delay In Resolving Backlease Cases
It is being said that now the agenda will not be placed before the board every time to correct the clerical error in leaseback; instead, the right to correct the clerical error has been given to the committee formed by the CEO. After examining the records, the committee’s recommendation will approve the clerical error, which will be corrected here. This will not delay the back lease.
Farmers’ Cases Will Be Heard Immediately
The Chief Secretary joined this board meeting online. CEO of Greater Noida Authority, NG Ravi Kumar, ACEO Saumya Srivastava, ACEO Sunil Kumar Singh, ACEO Srilakshmi VS, ACEO Prerna Singh, ACEO Kapil Singh of YIDA, ADM Bachchu Singh, OSD of Greno Authority Abhishek Pathak, General Manager Finance Vinod Kumar, General Manager Planning Leenu Sehgal, OSD Girish Kumar Jha, OSD Jitendra Gautam, Deputy General Manager Abhishek Jain, along with authority officers and representatives of other member departments, were present. All have been instructed to resolve the cases of farmers quickly.
